Wednesday, August 10th, 2005The Inquirer is reporting that the first-person shooter Doom has been successfully ported over to the iPod. If you’re willing to run Podzilla (an iPod Linux project) on your iPod Photo, you can install Doom and play, using the built-in media scroller and buttons to control your character.
Refund for Canadian iPod Buyers
Tuesday, August 9th, 2005The Globe and Mail is reporting that Canadian iPod buyers could be eligible for a $25 refund, if they purchased their iPod last year.
The company said it will return the “piracy†levy its customers paid on iPod products between December, 2003, and December, 2004, following a Supreme Court decision last month upholding a lower court’s ruling that the surcharge was invalid.
